    Introduction of Global Fusion Ferro Alloy Powder (Iron Based Powder):

    Self-fusing iron base alloys are basically iron-carbon alloys with additions of chromium, boron and silicon. They are typically used on mechanical parts for resisting wear and weak acid corrosion. Even though their properties are not as good as nickel, cobalt base alloys, they are readily available and inexpensive, making them popular in less critical applications.

    Iron-based powder metallurgy formula technology is generally used in the processing of mechanical parts. Quenching process is its leading formula technology, in which the iron-based powders will obtain a specific organization after transformed by martensite, afterwards, the powders will temper by cooperating with different temperatures so as to improve the strength and corrosion resistance of powder metallurgy products.

    Iron-based powder metallurgy formula technology can also be used in processing the special performance of powder metallurgy products so as to meet different operating requirements of them. In the powder metallurgy formula technology, vibration-assisting filling method is used so as to change the distribution of powder density, thus the powder will be evenly distributed and avoid that the metal powders are not fully and evenly filled, moreover, it also can reduce the crack and failure of powder metallurgy products caused by high frequency induction heating and quenching as it can reduce the induction heating equipment frequency and heating rate as well as lessen the hardness difference between the heating and non-heating area, in which the harness buffer will be generated and reduce crack risks.

    Dedicated fixture should be used in the iron-based powder metallurgy formula technology so as to reduce high-frequency effects, meanwhile, cooling water should be used to relieve the internal heat of powder metallurgy products in the inside workpiece and reduce the crack caused by uneven structural stress and thermal stress. After using iron-based powder metallurgy formula technology on the production, crack that generated in the powder metallurgy products has been effectively controlled as well as workpiece qualified rate has been greatly improved.
